When I bought this house, the kitchen was a dark nightmare - ceiling dropped, window nailed shut, no outlets anywhere, and every surface not painted dark red had either black cork or fake brick glued to it. The stove was in front of the window, the sink pressed up under some cabinets so that you'd bump your head if you tried to do the dishes.

It is with a deep breath and some trepidation that I announce that tomorrow morning, shortly after coffee-ingestion-time, the huge red door of the DogTown Garage will ominously creak open, and the Retro Beige Sale Revival Diaspora will begin.
